Seasonic’s greatest pride was receiving the prestigious European Hardware Award for its Platinum power supply series. Nils Stallmach, European Channel Manager received the award on the opening day of Computex 2015 on behalf of Sea Sonic.
The European Hardware Awards is an annual selection of the best hardware products available on the European market chosen by an expert panel of technology experts, known as the European Hardware Association. By this award, the European Hardware Association members are committed to recognize companies that produce exceptional hardware that consumers across the European region can trust.
The European Hardware Association was founded by a group of the most significant independent hardware review sites across the Europe. The founding members include KitGuru.net, Hardware.Info(The Netherlands), Hardwareluxx (Germany), Cowcotland (France), Hardware Upgrade (Italy), Hispazone (Spain), PurePC.pl (Poland) and Lab 501 (Romania). These websites altogether have more than 20 million visitors per month and they have published over 100,000 articles.
The extensive evaluation and voting process leading up to the selection of the best hardware each year takes place throughout May, with the winners being announced during a special presentation at the Taipei International Convention.
