AI workstations, GPU servers, and edge computing systems create different PSU requirements than traditional enthusiast PCs. Seasonic PRIME ENTERPRISE was designed specifically for these environments while building on the engineering principles of the PRIME platform.

What is Seasonic PRIME ENTERPRISE? Features of the new Seasonic power supplies.

Seasonic PRIME ENTERPRISE is a brand-new flagship platform for professional AI workstations and multi-GPU systems, first presented at Computex 2026. PRIME ENTERPRISE PSUs were designed for resource-intensive workloads running around the clock, where power reliability, continuous monitoring, and equipment safety are critical.

Seasonic has announced the PRIME ENTERPRISE TX-1300 and PRIME ENTERPRISE TX-1600 models. Both comply with:

  1. ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards,
  2. equipped with native 12V-2×6 connectors,
  3. 80 PLUS® Titanium certified.

Their efficiency goes up to 94% at 50% load (115 V AC), and Micro Tolerance Load Regulation (MTLR) ensures a 0.5% voltage deviation even during sudden load changes.

The new PSU series features the OptiTech ecosystem, which includes:

  1. OptiGuard™ 2.0 – an active power supply and 12V-2×6 cable monitoring system. It is distinguished by a preventive approach to protection. The system monitors PSU parameters, detects potentially dangerous anomalies, and alerts the user before a critical situation arises.

Some PRIME Enterprise models are expected to feature OptiGuard™ 2.0 once the technology is ready.

Another innovation that ENTERPRISE PSUs are equipped with is the improved 12V-2×6 silicone cable. Now, it is more flexible than traditional cables, simplifies routing inside the case, and reduces mechanical stress on the GPU connector. It’s especially important for modern high-performance GPUs that can draw 600W.

One thing to note is that PRIME ENTERPRISE is a separate product line focused primarily on the ENTERPRISE segment, professional AI systems, and high-end workstations.

How PRIME ENTERPRISE maintains stable power delivery under sustained AI workloads

AI workloads differ significantly from typical loads from home, office, or gaming PCs. Unlike gaming workloads, AI tasks such as model training, inference, and high-performance computing can keep CPUs and GPUs under sustained load for hours or even days. That’s where PRIME ENTERPRISE shows what it’s made of.

The Seasonic PRIME ENTERPRISE PSU is backed by a precise voltage regulation feature, so even during sudden changes in load, the PC remains stable. This is achieved due to the proprietary Micro Tolerance Load Regulation (MTLR) technology, which ensures an output voltage deviation of less than 0.5%. When performing resource-intensive tasks, this keeps your processor, graphics card, and other components running reliably.

To support PRIME ENTERPRISE PSUs’ stable operation in high-performance AI scenarios, Seasonic incorporates EDPP (Electrical Design Point Peak) technology, optimized for high-end GPUs and the short power spikes they create. This technology manages the short-term power spikes of modern graphics accelerators and monitors power parameters in real time.

Overall, PRIME ENTERPRISE is built for professional systems, featuring monitoring and security tools for uninterrupted operation, ensuring excellent stability whatever the AI workloads they handle.

Cooling design of Seasonic PRIME ENTERPRISE for continuous high-load operation

In Seasonic PRIME ENTERPRISE PSUs, integrated high-quality heat dissipation solutions. The big idea here is consistent heat dissipation during extended heavy workloads without affecting system performance. In configurations with multiple GPUs and sustained computational workloads, this strategy ensures the power supply unit stays reliable for a long time and maintains the same level of system reliability.

To achieve this goal, Seasonic uses technology that optimizes internal heat transfer and improves heat dissipation across the PSU’s key components. This way, Seasonic PRIME ENTERPRISE delivers maximum cooling efficiency for AI systems and professional workstations where reliability during continuous high-load operation is a must.

Cooling features
