The cable requires a compatible Seasonic power supply rated at 650 W or higher with two free 8-pin CPU/PCIe modular connectors. Compatible families include many PRIME, VERTEX, FOCUS and older Seasonic modular models, but compatibility is not universal. Before ordering, check your exact PSU model in our Cable Compatibility Guide.
The 90° connector can help with cable routing when there is limited space between the graphics card and the side panel of the case. Yes. Both 8-pin connectors must be connected to the power supply whenever this cable is used. The cable is rated for up to 600 W, but the PSU itself still needs to be suitable for the graphics card and complete system. Not necessarily. The direction of the graphics card power socket differs between GPU models, and the 90° connector may not fit correctly on every RTX 40 or RTX 50 card. Check the position and orientation of the GPU connector, as well as the available case clearance, before choosing this cable. No. This cable uses two 8-pin connectors on the PSU side and a 90° 12V-2×6 connector on the graphics card side, so the two ends are not interchangeable. The native cable instead uses 12V-2×6 connectors on both ends and is designed for compatible Seasonic ATX 3.x power supplies with a native PSU-side 12V-2×6 port.
