The updated Seasonic CORE GX White ATX 3.1 Series complies with the latest ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards and includes four output ranges from 1000 W to 650 W in both black and white colors. Catering to a broad spectrum of PC enthusiasts and system builders, these power supplies provide a fine balance between cost and performance. The 80 PLUS® Gold certified Seasonic’s Core GX White line is a fully modular design equipped with white cables featuring a braided pattern. New Seasonic OptiSink™ Design
The overall quality and reliability of the new CORE GX White ATX 3.1 Series has been greatly improved by a brand-new PCB (Printed Circuit Board) layout and the implementation of automated surface mount technology during production, which minimizes human production errors.
By using a redesigned PCB combined with smaller MOSFET and heat sink components, the internal space within the power supply was increased to enhance heat dissipation and airflow to result in better component cooling.
The eightfold increase in thermal conductivity at the mounting interface, compared with thermal-pad mounting, keeps the internals of the power supply cooler, eventually leading to improved product quality and more efficient operation.
The redesigned layout of the power supply components and its improved thermal performance creates versatility and allows the power supply to be safely installed in any orientation.
The OptiSink™ design uses a redesigned PCB layout with smaller MOSFET and heat sink components, mounted by automated surface-mount technology. This increases the internal space available for airflow — up to 48% more than the previous generation — and shortens the thermal path between the power components and the heat sink.

Recommended 12V-2×6 Cable Installation
- Your 12V-2×6 cable must be connected with one end to the PSU and the other end to your GPU.
- For safety and stability, ensure both connectors are fully INSERTED, CLICK-LOCKED, and TIGHT before powering on your system.
- DO NOT bend or apply force to the cable after it is plugged into place.

Compared with the black CORE GX ATX 3.1, the main difference is the finish and supplied cable color. Both versions are available from 650 W to 1000 W, are fully modular, carry 80 PLUS Gold certification, and support ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1. The White version comes with matching white braided-pattern cables.
Yes. CORE GX White comes with individual white cables with a braided pattern, so a white build does not require a separate cable set from the start. If you later need an additional cable, the exact cable type and compatibility should still be checked.
Yes. Unlike CORE GC and BC at 650 W, the fully modular CORE GX White 650 W includes a native 12V-2×6 cable. The same connection is also included with the 750 W, 850 W and 1000 W models.
Not necessarily. Seasonic currently lists CORE GX White as a region-specific product, so availability can vary depending on the market. The series also carries several regional safety and EMC certifications.
If Platinum efficiency is a priority, FOCUS PX White ATX 3.1 v5 is another white option, available in 850 W and 1000 W. It moves above CORE GX White in efficiency certification while keeping a compact 140 mm design.
