Seasonic PRIME PX Powers Back-to-Back Win at G.SKILL Overclocking World Cup 2025

June 20, 2025

Seasonic PRIME PX PSU powered rigs as the champion lifts a $10 000 winner’s cheque and trophy at the G.SKILL Overclocking World Cup 2025.

The annual G.SKILL Overclocking World Cup was organized during Computex 2025 by G.SKILL International Enterprise Co., Ltd.

Being the biggest annual overclocking competition, the event draws the cooperation of the world’s leading manufacturers of extreme-performance hardware, memory, and gaming peripherals.

The rules ensure fair competition: contestants must bring their own hardware—including processor, cooling gear, and motherboard—and they must use the Seasonic PRIME PX power supply, considered to be a solid performer and extremely safe for any overclocked condition.

Why did the 2025 G.SKILL Overclocking World Cup mandate the Seasonic PRIME PX PSU?

Its Platinum efficiency, ≤ 1 % voltage regulation and 1 300 W overhead deliver rock-solid power during liquid-nitrogen over-clocking, eliminating PSU-related crashes.

Following a series of exciting stages of close competition, the absolute winner demonstrated how to push the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor and the ASUS ROG Maximus Z890 Apex motherboard to their absolute limits. CENS showed a solid performance to win the US $10,000 cash grand prize. Congratulations to CENS from Germany, who was able to win this prestigious G.SKILL OC WC contest two years in a row.
