What is Computex 2025?
This is one of the largest technology conferences that is held in Taipei every year.

AIoT and startups as the main trends of Computex 2025
There were two key development vectors at Computex 2025: AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) integration and startups’ active participation in defining “tech”.
A few words about them. AIoT combines Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things. With it, intelligent devices can make their own decisions, analyze data, and adjust to changing environments. This is a huge step ahead that continues to evolve.

What Sea Sonic showed at Computex 2025
At Computex 2025, we’ve demonstrated our path of achievements over the past 50 years through ongoing product updates and the creation of industry standards. We’ve included our newest technologies and the well-known products that have built Sea Sonic’s reputation.
OptiTech™
With the fast progression in artificial intelligence and computational power, it’s important to keep both performance and environmental care in mind. To help with this, we’ve created OptiTech™ – a new ecosystem with different sets of features that improve the efficiency and reliability of the power supply in every PC.
Currently, there are two design elements that enhance the design of Seasonic power supplies – OptiSink™ and OptiGuard™.
OptiSink™
Sea Sonic first unveiled OptiSink™ at Computex 2024, marking the beginning of a significant overhaul in the PCB layout and manufacturing process for Seasonic power supplies. Our redesign focused on reorganizing the internal layouts to improve heat dissipation of critical components and thereby helping us gain higher power density which reduced the power supply footprint and still provided the same output. The OptiSink™ technology also improves component reliability and performance, which are vital in today’s needs for the reduction of waste and improvement in sustainability.
This year, we introduced the updated OptiSink 2.0™, featuring a further refinement of the original OptiSink™ 1.0 PCB layout. The new tech now supports the cooling of the MOSFET, a critical component of the power supply, and its proper cooling enhances the overall performance and reliability of the power supply.
OptiGuard™
OptiGuard™ is a new advanced VGA and system protection feature from Sea Sonic, introduced as part of the OptiTech™ suite.
The OptiGuard™ adds another layer to protect the valuable VGA card that can run into the many thousands of dollars and is the key component for today’s AI system needs. OptiGuard™ monitors and detects abnormal operation conditions for voltage and temperature that can potentially damage the VGA card and will promptly respond and safeguard the VGA and the entire system.
PRIME HPD
Sea Sonic’s newest flagship, the Seasonic PRIME series will now add a new lineup named the PRIME HPD series that will deliver impressive power performance in a high-power density form factor that is only 125 mm deep. This small footprint will allow for more flexibility in system build applications where a reduction in size is important, and this is only achieved through the implementation of the OptiSink™ technology
Compared to previous PRIME models, even though the size is small, the ripple and noise levels have been reduced to 15 mV. which makes it one of the best performers on the market today and paired with a voltage hold-up time that exceeds 20 ms and a super small footprint, the PRIME HPD will become an important part of the complete PRIME power supply family.
PRIME PX HPD Noctua Edition
Sea Sonic continues and extends the collaboration with Noctua, the best power supply matched to the best fan available today. Like the PRIME HPD series, the Noctua Edition will have the same compact 125 mm size and available in 850W, 1000W, and 1200W models.
And by combining Noctua’s latest NF-A12x25 G2 fan with Sea Sonic’s PRIME HPD high power density OptiSink™ design, it is the smallest ATX power supply ever released under the Noctua co-brand project.
The 3200W Monster
Back in 2011, Sea Sonic first introduced our first 1000W power supply with an 80 PLUS® Platinum rating – a milestone in PC power supply development at the time. This year, we released our highly successful 2200W unit, and at the end of 2025, we will present the next leap forward with the 3200W PRIME PX-3200.
This powerhouse is built to meet the demands of next-generation GPUs and the rising power needs of AI computing. And, as always, it reflects Sea Sonic’s core values – advanced features, premium components, and the trusted build quality that professionals and enthusiasts rely on.
CORE Dual
The CORE Dual power supply offers the flexibility to connect modular cables from either the inner side or from the side of the chassis, giving system builders more options for integration.
This innovative design is enabled by OptiSink™ technology to reduce the power supply footprint down to only 110mm and features a high-quality 80mm dynamic bearing fan for optimal cooling.
Colorways
Traditional power supplies come in two basic flavors of either black or white. This year, Sea Sonic decided to take a new approach and develop a colorway scheme tailored to our customers’ preferences, as more and more system builders want to customize and integrate themed builds. Understanding that many choose the color of their power supply to match their home setup or favorite colors, this idea became a high potential to our product lineup.
To mark Sea Sonic’s 50th anniversary, we showcase some interesting colorways that can add benefit and value to one’s system.
